Player acquired: Eli Apple, Cornerback, New York Giants
Compensation: 5th round pick

The Dolphins’ secondary was considered an up-and-coming unit coming into the 2018 season, but injuries to safety Reshad Jones and cornerback Bobby McCain have tested the team’s defensive back depth. 2017 third-round pick Cordrea Tankersley has yet to play a snap this season after earning 637 snaps as a rookie. Eli Apple to the Dolphins was a popular mock-draft pick in 2016 and would immediately fill the void left by McCain at boundary corner. Apple has battled a groin injury and missed time but appears good to go for Week 5. When he has been on the field this season, he has played well, allowing just two receptions for 15 yards on seven targets over his 97 snaps.

Yes I would be for that. But I don’t think the giants have enough depth at corner to make this happen. Eli Apple for a 5th as our second boundary yes indeed.

We should trade Tannehill. He deserves the chance to go somewhere else and flourish. We can at least get a number 1 for him. Then all the haters would see how hard it is to find a good Qb.

Getting tj off the field given his 2019 cap hit is probably why it won’t happen.

But Apple as the 2nd boundary is excellent value.

They don’t even put tank on this list of trade candidates. Must feel like he has no value.

Is this even a thing? Cause if it's not I can find 100 players I'd like to trade for. Hard to believe giants will trade him for a 5th

I mean I like the Apple idea if you can get him for a 5th . . . Although because he was a top 10 pick, that 5th year option will be beastly . . . So really you are talking about 11 games this year and one more year until he is a FA.

But if you can give up a 5th for Anthony in a similar scenario last year you damn sure can do it here.

We could try to trade McDonald for some Madden Ultimate Team packs though.

Don't understand why some want to move him to LB, the guy can't tackle!
