[h=2]Miami Dolphins vs. Buffalo Bills[/h] The Miami Dolphins travel to upstate New York this weekend to take on yet another AFC East division rival in the Buffalo Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday. Ryan Tannehill and company are fresh off a huge victory at home over the New England Patriots aided by the dominance of Cameron Wake, while the Bills and EJ Manuel are still celebrating their momentous upset over the Chicago Bears in overtime on opening weekend.

[h=2]Keys to Victory[/h] Miami Dolphins: Last December the Miami Dolphins were routed by the Buffalo Bills 19-0 at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Week 16. To avoid a similar outcome, the Dolphins offensive line needs to keep Ryan Tannehill upright and in the pocket and keep Mario Williams out of the backfield.
With the Dolphins offense ticking on all cylinders in the second half of last week’s victory over the New England Patriots, the Dolphins will once again need a strong performance from their running backs Lamar Miller and Knowshon Moreno. If the Dolphins running backs are making big plays like they were last week, that gives Tannehill the opportunity to unleash deep balls when the Bills stack the box, and also confuse the Bills defense with play action passes.
Buffalo Bills: The Bills beat the Dolphins twice last year, thanks in large part to their defensive line sacking Ryan Tannehill and forcing turnovers consistently. They also beat the Dolphins twice without quarterback EJ Manuel, and rookie wide receiver Sammy Watkins was still at Clemson.
The Dolphins defense completely shut down Tom Brady and the Patriots last week, so the Bills will need to capitalize on all of their opportunities and be very wary of Cameron Wake and Olivier Vernon. Expect a healthy dose of CJ Spiller and Fred Jackson as the Bills look to exploit the Dolphins injury plagued linebacking corps.
[h=2]Betting Odds[/h] Point Spread: -1 +1 MIA: -110 BUF: -110
Moneyline: MIA: -120 BUF: 100
O/U: 43 O/U MIA: o: -110 BUF: u: -110
[h=2]Prediction[/h] Both teams are looking to start their season 2-0 and take sole possession of first place in the AFC East. The Dolphins have struggled mightily against the Bills in recent years, especially with their anemic offensive line and inept offense over the last several seasons, but this is not the same Dolphins team.
With the defensive line getting to and disrupting EJ Manuel consistently, the Bills won’t have many chances to put points on the board. The Dolphins’ new offense, spearheaded by offensive coordinator Bill Lazor, makes a point to get the ball out of Tannehill’s arm quickly, and if he can do that on Sunday, the Dolphins could put up big numbers once again and pull out the victory.
Final Score: Miami Dolphins: 24, Buffalo Bills: 14

The Dolphins and Bills have split 8 meetings since 2010. I wouldn't call that struggling mightily vs. Buffalo but I digress. If Miami can get up early and let Wake/OV tee off on Manuel, they win. If Buffalo gets out to an early lead it might be ugly quick.

Bottom line: We win this game IF...

-The Miami offense tailors its game to the Bills fast, QB-chasing D by getting the ball out quick to Tannehill upright, and focusing on opening big running lanes in the process for Moreno to do his job.

-The Miami defense takes the steps necessary to assume the Bills will repeatedly attack their LB core. They need to adequately over-prepare those LBs and minimize the exposure those LBs have out there in space (through smart DE and safety help).

Each side of the ball has adjustments they need to make to succeed, and it will be interesting to see if Lazor and Croyle follow through on those.

Bingo!

The key to this game is the quick passes and deep receiver corps of the new MIA O against the poor BUF pass D, most especially the LBs.

The MIA OL will only have to hold their blocks for a couple seconds against this excellent Bills DL. Have the TE or RB chip Mario Williams on the way out to screen passes to give our rookie RT some help.

The BUF D will have to pull their LBs off the line or shift to a nickel, opening up the running game.

So long as MIA is not giving away the ball like they (and the Bears) did last week, they should be able to score at will. The Pats could not force a punt until the 4Q!

Get two scores ahead and then send in the dogs against Manuel.

I think we will spread them out and have more success running on them than people think. Ryan had a few misreads on the read option that could have been big plays. The play in goaline before the play where Miller scored should have been a walk in TD. If Ryan would have read it right, and kept the ball running to his left instead of handing it off going right he would have scored with ease. Wallace came in motion out of the backfield to the left side and the DE on that side got blocked down. It was Wallace and Ryan vs one DB, he could have pitched it or kept it depending on where the DB went. Would have walked in had he kept it instead of handing it off to the right.
This offense has so many plays and angles it is brutal for a defense to try and stop. Nothing is as it appears before the snap. If Ryan is a little more accurate this week I expect him to put up over 300 yards.

Miami's DL will have more sacks than the Bills will have points...

If the Fins are smart they should have extra private security posted at the hotel.
