What do you look for? Some serious work by Tannehill and key starters or mostly time for bubble players?

I might give the starters one or two series, but I think it's reserves only this week. I think I read somewhere that Tannehill and Moore won't play, so we could be looking at Quinn for three quarters and Lobato for the 4th.

don't play the starters at all...

What's the point of 1 useless series?

To me it's the same logic of having Tannehill come out after halftime and lead the first drive -- you get the game sense of making adjustments and applying them.

To let him have one or two drives gives him the same sense of game prep and application.

Plus it can give a bit more confidence.

I see it as a positive, letting at least one good drive happen.

The last preseason game is always for the reserves and all the players on the bubble.

At QB we probably see only Lobato and Quinn.

Typically that's the case, yes. But what if your offense is struggling?

That's where I'm coming from...

I don't want Tannehill to play a single down if Robert Quinn is in the game

I look for Ryan Tannehill, Lamar Miller, Knowshon Moreno, Mike Wallace, Brian Hartline, Brandon Gibson, Charles Clay, Branden Albert, Ja'Wuan James, Cam Wake, Randy Starks, Jared Odrick, Olivier Vernon, Brent Grimes, and Louis Delmas to all be in a t-shirt and bball shorts.

Branden Albert should be put in a cryogenic deep freeze for the next two weeks.

Nope. Won't matter.
You don't put your first and second stringers behind patch work OL.
Everybody except Rex Ryan knows that.

The last game is all about the bubble players. Score does not matter.

EDIT: I probably would play our possible starting OL in. But more for timing issues and coherence. An OL has to play as a unit. I would put them in for a series or two. In that case I would give Knowshown a series or two as well. He had on;y one preseason game.
Behind that OL I start Lobato to give him a fair chance to start with a starting unit on OL.

If Philbin and Lazor decide to just use backups on OL I wouldn't even risk Knowshon.

Im cool with Quinn playing the first half and Lobato 2nd half. The only starters that would get reps are shelly smith and whatever safety will be playing for the Jones suspension. Thats it!

Hmmm. I wonder if they will emphasize the run game much with Quinn playing QB?

I wouldn't play the starters at all. I just remember when Sparano kept the offense in and Long got hurt and was never the same after that.
