The Dolphins have exercised Ryan Tannehill's fifth-year option for 2016.
The club option is valued at over $16 million. Tannehill established career highs in every statistic last season, flourishing in then-new OC Bill Lazor's system. The Dolphins now have Tannehill under control for the next two seasons. Although his deep ball remains a major limitation, the Dolphins are believed to be interested in locking up Tannehill long term before Week 1.
