Florida Marlins World Series Champs 1997 & 2003
Tampa bay Bucs 2002 Superbowl champs

Do you notice anyone missing from that list? We haven't been to the the big game in over 20 Years. Is the drought over? Do we have what it takes to continue the great pride that exists in florida; of championship sports on the college and pro level?

i hate to do this to ya, but i don't think the heat are world champs. i don't think any nba champ can be legitimately called a world champ anymore. until we start dominating international games again, nba champs are exactly just that...nba champs. but i got your point, the dolphins are due.

Its a technicality at best, its what is generally accepeted as the truth, its not like I made it up or claimed it.

Actually all the international players are in the NBA. All of them make their money in the USA and Canada and then go represent their poor nations when the olympics comes around. BTW they were doing that even when we were sending our college players. Miami is world champions. BTW guys the Panthers is up as well. UNC won the NC in BB and the baseball team is about to win the CWS. OHH and I almost forgot, How about them Hurricanes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to see us beat the Panthers in this years bowl but if we don't make it go Panthers.
 
you forgot the UF Gators who won the 2006 NCAA Mens Basketball Tournament.

and the Tampa Bay Lightning winning the stanley cup.
 
If you go by that then you forgot the Florida State Seminoles and the Florida Gators. They all won National Championships since the Dolphins last went to the Big Game. The Dolphins have won AFC East Division titles so the cupboard isn't totally bare.
 
...and.... the magic won the East in 95, shaq left in 96
 
blah blah blah, I left out college sports on purpose, however in hindsight i should not have. But thanks for the other updates, the original list was generated off the top of my head
