Miami dophins draft garde: C-

Everybody has their opinions that's the beauty of a forum like this. My opinion is just the opposite. I would grad it out as a B and compared to the last half decade of dolphin drafts an A. I like the athletes picked. Egnew and Cunningham and Millar and Tannehill and Martin and Vernon are playmakers. The only bad pick IMO is the LB. Cunningham was a stud in the Big 10 this year.

Tanneyhill - B+ Not a huge fan of his but agree we needed to finally take a chance on a Qb
J Martin - A - good pick, excellent value
O. Vernon B- not a bad pick
M. Egnew - C- not a fan of Egnew. He cannot block at all, when he is in the defense knows whats coming.
L Miller - D - this grade not on the player himself but because it was a totally unneeded position.
J Kaddu - F - A project LB is what you take in the 7th rd and sign after the draft, not in the 5th rd.
B J Cunningham- D- small hands, 4.6 speed and a habit of drops, and this was the best WR we could select in this draft?

Just how I see this draft..

You are wrong it should be a solid C.

I completely disagree about rb not being a need area. Bush had a nice year but I don't trust him as a 20+ carry rb that can stay healthy.
Then we have Daniel Thomas who didn't impress at all last season. I realize he was a rookie but he better produce this year or I don't see him on this team much longer.
I love that we drafted a rb that looks to have been a 2nd round talent. As for the wr BJ looking at his clips he appears to have great hands small or not.

I give this draft at first sight, without delving too deep at worst a B...

lamar miller in the fourth is the least of my concerns... that was sick value. reggie is here for another year probably, DT is very unproven, slaton, messam... I wont' even insult your intelligence by saying much more about them... I have no idea how RB, especially as a fourth round pick at great value, is a F pick in your mind... unless of course, you are high off your ass right now... not really sure...

agree with the previous posters about egnew... I doubt hes coming in to block so we can play smashmouth football and run it... we can do lots with him.. we can pass, we can have them think pass and actually run, we can run two tight end sets...

this has been a damn good draft IMO... I'm still hoping for a mcnutt if he falls to round 7... but even without him, I am very pleased with this draft.

Really, Miller a D, and Cunningham a D-, and Egnew a C because he can't block?

You do realize what a west coast system is, correct? Cunningham fits the description perfectly, he runs good routes, not the fastest, but he CATCHES THE BALL. Miller has injury issues, but he's still a home-run threat. Egnew will fit in our system nicely, he is not meant to block.

wow youre not to bright if you think miller is a bad pick thats as big of a steal as randle

Isn't grading the draft a bit absurd at this point since not one player has played one snap in the NFL

:hclap:
