Miami favored in N.E.

The plus means they're getting 5.5 points not giving so no they are not favored.

Yes, you're misreading it.

With NE's home field advantage(+3)worked into it. That makes us 2.5 point underdogs, correct? If the we were playing at a neutral location that is.

Correct. The home team automatically gets 3 points.

Edit: We'd actually be 2.5 point underdogs at home, doesn't have to be a neutral site.

so then steelers -13 over lions means lions are favored?

No. The Steelers are losing 13 points. Meaning they have to win by at least 2 TD's to cover.

So we would be favored to win by 1/2 point if we were playing at home. That sounds like respect to me.

Yep and I'll take it. Now lets hope this final game is the game that we finally put together a FULL 60 minutes of football on both sides of the ball and solidify that respect with a victory!

My bad. That makes sense though. Thanks for clearing that up.

EDIT: Actually now I am confused... If we are 5.5 point underdogs in NE and they get an automatic 3 for being at home. That makes them 2.5 point favorites... if we were at home and get the +3 and they are 2.5 favorites, doesn't that make us .5 favorites at home? Ugh. I hate Vegas. Hmm.. okay I think I am getting this... either way they are 2.5 point favorites, it doesn't matter who gets the +3... I am not thinking clearly. I have an ear infection and my mind is swirling because of it.

I think this is the most important game, when considering the future of the Dolphins, in our history. If we win up there in New England everything Nick Saban says from now on out is gospel to those players. 90% of them are probably already on board (if not they should be) but 100% of the players will never doubt him again next season of they go out 9-7 on a 6 game winning streak when they thought the sky was falling sitting at 3-7.

Why in the world is SD favored over Denver by 11? Are they resting starters?

Dolphins are paying 4.5 on Pro-line so start making those tickets! (Canadians)

I agree. Saban has already left a legacy at LSU, so it would seem. Look at what that team did to "The U" tonight. Seems he either had a huge impact for years to come or Les Miles is the next Saban.
