Do you hear anything from the media about this? ESPN-nothing, CBSsportline-nothing, NFL Network-nothing other than the game recaps. I am really worried about next weeks game. We need to pound the Jets into the ground and bury their *** because the NFL does not want us to win this game. If this game remains close every call will go to Brett Favre and the Jets. Kraft is so far up Goddell's backside they will do everything thay can to get the Pats in the playoffs.:err:

The Colts technically still hold that. They went from 3-13 to 13-3 after one season. They got 10 more wins than their previous year and if Miami wins next Sunday, they can tie that.

true, we do have the best turnaround for a 1-15 team though..
and should be the only one to ever make the playoffs

The Colts went 13-3 and did not make the playoffs?:rolleyes2:

nothing like a good ole conspiracy thread.

I assure you the NFL doesn't care who gets into the playoffs. Maybe the NBA does, cause their ratings in the playoffs suck, but not the NFL.

The Colts, in 1999, went 13-3 and lost in the first rd of the playoffs to the Tennessee Titans 19-16. While I concede we will tie them by winning 10 games, but as stated earlier we will be the only 1-15 team to make the playoffs the next year(I'm hoping). If we win our 1st playoff game then there is no debate that we will be the greatest 1 yr. turnaround in the history of the NFL.

As with all things.. nothing lasts forever.. and all things must change.

This is the beginning of the Miami Dynasty. Just the beginning. Sit back and enjoy. The accolades you seek with come from winning on the field. Making the playoffs will do much to earn them. Winning in the playoffs will do even more.

lets just hope we never need a turn around like this again,ever...I don't ever wanna see us lose 15 games in one season.

Ozzy rules!!

I could be wrong, but didn't the panthers go to the playoffs with a 9-7 record after their 1-15 season?

I don't ever wanna see us lose another game... Un fortunately, we will at some point. :boohoo:

we have the quickest turnaround in NFL, not the best...yet :)

Well said. I think we are making too big a deal of this "turnaround" thing. If it were the same roster that did this, then yes, it would be a turnaround. But let's not forget, last year we lost our starting QB (Trent Green) who was replaced by Cleo Lemon (who, where is he now?), our starting running back (Ronnie), our backup (Ricky), and most of our secondary, all with a new head coach. STILL, we lost 6 games by only 3 points or less, so we actually were not as bad a team as people make it out to be. NO TEAM, good or bad, could survive what we went through last year, so while I'm not taking anything away from the current coaches, etc., there were a lot of other factors that contributed to how "bad" we were.
