Miami Has Allowed, 1,937, 2,019, and 2,247 Rushing Yds the Last 3 Seasons

Will getting capable LBs fix this issue? Or maybe the DL is overrated too?

Which do you think is more of the problem? An "overrate DL?" or a practically non-existent LB corp? Let me help you further your thoughts before you provide an answer OP.

Compare Miami's DL to others in the NFL. Now, compare our LB group to others in the NFL.

LB is the biggest issue. DL has to do better with maintaining their gaps

Both units will most likely get overhauled this offseason

You asked "or" that response is "both" Secondly, I guarantee you, one of those groups will more or less be untouched. While the other group is "overhauled" can you guess which is which?

Disturbing trend for sure. Bring back ellerbe and wheeler - lol. We need better LB play for one.

I will say the Only DL players that are probably safe to return next season are Suh, Wake and Philips. Would not be surprised if Williams, Branch, Mitchell, Fede and Nick Williams are all gone next season.

Horrible run D for 3 years. LB core needs 3 new guys atleast. DL could use DE and another DT. We need to be lights out in free agency and draft.

Can't believe I actually miss Chuck Studley's defense...

Change. The. ****ing. Scheme.

Miami Dolphins promote LB coach Matt Burke to Defensive Coordinator

Whelp, FTW

When the season started I said I was afraid that the scheme could not hold up against the rush. That proved to be right. We have to close the gaps and get back to a more traditional 4-3.

Combination of LBs and the D-line. Our LBs are abysmal, our DEs can't set the edge vs. the run and we have mediocre guys at DT outside of Suh.

Our 4-3 is as traditional as it gets.

Couldn't have said it any better. We have ONE guy in our front 7 that can play the run(Suh). The DE's only want to pass rush but in order to do that you have to stop the run first. Our LB's all suck playing the run....actually they suck at everything.

Ozzy rules!!

You're a little late to the Gym Shorts defensive party, but that's our scheme.

Remember the whole, "built to play w/ a lead", BS?

i.e. It's designed to pass rush under the premise that we have the lead and they must pass more frequently.

Yeah. It's a garbage philosophy.
