1) It means winning within your division, because those games make up almost 40 percent of your regular-season schedule and the results pretty much count double.


And 2) it means protecting your home field, or taking advantage of what is supposed to be your advantage.

thats where it starts and we have failed miserably within our division the last decade plus plus. Until that changes we will fail. We need the home heat advantage back with a little rocking in the stadium. With that some wins of course but it all starts with whipping the Pats, Jets, and Jills.

Since 2002 the first year with just the four teams in the east, the Dolphins have only had a winning division record 3 times...

2003 10-6 second in east no playoffs
2008 11-5 division winner
2009 7-9 third in east no playoffs

That's 15 years folks and... All three years were 4-2, never have we gone 5-1 or 6-0 within the division.

0-1 going into Sunday's game with Buffalo...

Doesn't help that we have one of the most tame home crowds in the NFL either. Sometimes these guys need to know they are appreciated to give them that extra bump of motivation.
