Miami Herald...Fiedler should play vs Dolphins

Thing is, I doubt the Jets will keep him on the active roster that long. He will likely be put on IR so they can pick up a backup QB to replace him.

Why would they need to do that when they know that Pennington is gone for the year?...If Bollinger or Vinnie go down then yes...I see your point...But they'll probably keep him active for now.
 
i bet he is just itching at the chance to play us....just as i am counting on the win...

They already have 3 QB's. Bollinger, Testeverde, and Kingsbury. I guess they could keep Fiedler active if they wanted to.

I think you have a good point... unless they think they can salvage the season and still make the playoffs...

If he is ready to go against us, and it's his first game back... that's week 15... they already have 2 losses, do they actually think by week 15 they'll still be in the hunt for a playoff spot?

IR makes since.
 
I want to see JT or Zach put a Rodney Harrison-like hit on him. I would frame that picture !!
 
JT will get his 6th fumble return for a TD that day, putting him in the record books.
