Miami Herald Says Manny Wright Will Play

Good deal. Wright playing time will likely increase each week and he should get quite a bit of PT in the game. Wright is gonna have a pretty good future here with us and I can't wait to see it.
 
Was he hurt or something? Hasn't he been playing for the past month, he even had a sack last week if I recall correctly?

I think last week was his first real opportunity to get good PT with Traylor out.

Traylor is almost irreplacable but this is definitely a good chance to get Manny more experience.

no he wasnt hurt. he basically was red-shirted by saban so wright could learn
technique and get into playing shape.

sunday was his first game, which is pretty amazing. he also had a pass defensed...which was almost sack #2.
 
Well one things for sure, If Sabn didn't think at the very least Manny could contribute he wouldn't be in the lineup. Also the games we are playing are pretty much meaningless. I don't mean to disrespect the team but with so many starters injured Saban Knows the playoffs are just words.

Yes he did have a sack Sunday but it is the first game he has played in for us.

so many starters? who are these starters that are injured...to my recollection it is only traylor and booker.

just naming some...I don't disagree with you. We still have a shot, we should take it.

We are down corners, safteys,LB,OL,QB's, DL all have backup's playing. Poole,Thomas,Seau,Traylor,Smith,Jones, a QB with a concussion WR's that out for the season. I think the list is long.
 
what does playing time mean? it doesn't mean starting, to me it means he will be the 1st back-up in the rotation with the starters
