I have no beef with this.
But would prefer to trade down if we’re looking safety in round 1.

Totally no to a safety at 13 unless he's Ed Reed or Ronnie Lott. We have big needs at CB/DL/OG. Not saying we can’t use a safety but a safety at 13 is not where the value's at

Drafting a S in the 1st round after not resigning a “star” player we drafted at the position is how we roll. It’s so Dolphins. Create a hole, then fill it in the draft. As Danny said, unless he’s Ronnie Lott or Ed Reed hard pass.

If you want a Safety in the first, trade down and get the star in Starks, otherwise wait til 3rd or 4th round.

Maybe, just maybe, Grier sees him as a trade down option? If Miami can get another 2nd, I like the talent in that portion of the draft.
Would probably have to trade down about 10 spots to get a 2nd in return? That's probably where Starks and Emanwori would go.
