it's a small tidbit...found it on rotoworld.com

Free agent Ashley Lelie will visit the Texans on Friday and the Vikings on Monday, according to Profootballtalk.com.

Lelie, coming off a 28-catch season, played for Texans head coach Gary Kubiak in Denver. The Dolphins also have been reported to have interest.

The Dolphins badly want to improve the speed of their receiving corps, and Atlanta's Ashley Lelie, known for his speed is available, but the team is not likely to try and sign him.

^Thankfully.

Why the hell would we want another WR with crazy potential who hasn't lived up to it yet, and never will, because he can't catch? If you can't survive in Atlanta, a team that has been desperate for a receiver for years.. then whether or not you are an NFL caliber receiver should be in question.

I guess he imported his NCAA draft class in Madden and found out that way. :roflmao:

Lelie was a real head case here with the Broncos....he also was always dropping passes....like CC and McMike, and then after a crappy season he felt it was time for Denver to make him the # 1 receiver when he never earned it....just pass on Lelie.

Thank God.
We didn't need Lelie anyway

I don't want any player on our roster that has the same first name as one of our cheerleaders.

Atlanta turns good receivers bad. Peerless Price was a baller until he met Vick, apparently Crumpler is the only person with enough body to muster a catch on that team.

Lelie is truly a freak, very Moss, and Burress-esque, but of course he doesn't have the hands of either of the two. But I don't think that was his fault in Atlanta and he didn't have stone hands in Denver (he just didn't perform).

I'm not praising him but if he comes cheap I am willing to give him a chance.

 But we already have Randy McMichael, who can toss those pompoms as good as any other cheerleader!

Lelie may be speedy but what good is speed when you can't catch consistently? He makes Chambers look as steady as Marvin Harrison.
