I really believe that. Our offensive red zone struggles are holding us back. Which player do we need? A big fast TE. A physical mismatch like a Graham, J.Thomas, or Gronk. Keep the offense in tact with the exception of Hartline and/or Gibson. Imagine a double digit TD guy at TE. Clay is good but he isn't the tall physical mismatch of a Graham. Our defense is top 5, keep it in tact. If we scored more redzone TDs we would have an elite team. Might seem obvious right? Then go draft the best seam threat TE in this draft. We will be talking superbowl if we do

Plenty of teams have won Super Bowls without such a threat. Patriots won three without one, and 0 with both Moss and Gronk. It would be nice, but scheme can get by as well as better decisions by our QB.

We also need a QB that's ok with completing deep passes, some O-line help, a kicker, a running back, and some linebackers. A coach that wasn't totally clueless would help, too.

If Tannehill somehow learns how to throw deep passes and we add a good linebacker then we should be pretty damn set to compete with anybody. I mean, we have a good team.
Tannehill's ineptitude in the deep passing game is really perplexing to me. He obviously has the arm strength to get the ball down the field, but for whatever reason he just can't get the timing and/or accuracy down. It's really bizarre, and he can't be a franchise QB in the NFL today without the deep ball in his repertoire.

I think a Red Zone target would be helpful...WR or TE...Right nowMiami only has two target worth a **** (Wallace and LAndry) everyone else is mediocre at best.

I like Misi and Jenkins at LB, but could use another...

Finally, if Taylor dose blossom and continue to show progress you can take this one off the list, but a CB opposite of grimes...

Like Eli ...

Eli is playing like an utter doofus for the most part in the last two seasons, but we have a much better team as a whole than the Giants do... We're better at really every position than they are right now, besides QB. I suppose you would take Tannehill over Eli right now if you're starting a team, but you can't put Tannehill above a guy with his playoff resume yet.

We pretty clearly need help in short yardage, as well as at least one big target in the passing game. Most importantly we need to get a stud on the interior OL because that's our biggest weakness. That's what single handedly loses the most games for us. People have mentioned Marshawn, and I couldn't agree more. That's the type of bruiser we need. Gurley tore his ACL so he won't work for us anymore. We can target another RB in the middle rounds to groom behind Marshawn. As far as TE Jordan Cameron is interesting assuming he hits the market, he's going to have concussion concerns now along with awful production this season, but is a great athlete and fit. In the draft I think you look for that WR and TE, and a top shelf guard. Outside of Iupati there isn't much out there, and he's going to get PAID. Clive Warford looked good for the Canes last night, he could be a target but he also isn't 6-5 plus like we'd like. Pharaoh Brown got injured too. A guy like La'el Collins or his teammate Vidal Alexander are targets in the first round if we wanna follow the Cowboys blueprint.

I do believe we are one player away from getting to the Super Bowl, and that player is Peyton Manning.

We also need a QB that's ok with completing deep passes, some O-line help, a kicker, a running back, and some linebackers. A coach that wasn't totally clueless would help, too.
Maybe if we had a receiver who could actually understand how to catch a deep pass this wouldn't be an issue for you.

Please explain how Philbin is totally clueless?
