Miami Is 1st In NFL In Passing Yards

oh whats the difference.....we suck, our QB's suck, Our OL sucks......Our LB core is not up to snuff.....Matt Roth is not as good as people made him out to be....Mcdougle is just that, a mcdougle.....Sam Madison is getting used.......we have a rookie starting in place of Patrick Surtan, or is it Surtain?......Jason Taylor isnt getting enough sacks to make the media take notice of some things that were doing... pretty much the sky is falling.....remember last week? thats the real Miami Dolphins.....We suck. never forget that. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!

That's 5.44 yards per attempt, guys. Incompetent. We won't win 5 games if that number holds.

I'll continue to emphasize that stat here. It is the truth and the light and has been for decades, long before Bud Goode started whispering about it. Notice the NFL.com website, linked atop this thread, doesn't even include yards per attempt among its table. That's runaway ignorance, as if the PGA Tour website didn't include driving distance or putting average. The mainstream media does a horrific job identifying the most meaningful NFL stats. Like yards per rush or total rushing yards instead of rushing attempts, and the wonderfully flawed overall QB rating instead of the baseline jewel yards per pass attempt.
 
Nevermind, I see your point. But you also can't forget that we're behind an o-line that's changed between weeks and a completely new system. The point is, we're doing much better than last year.
 
Yeah, I would say the main reason why we are 1st in passing yards is because 1.) We've played an extra game than almost every other team. 2.) Most of our yards and offensive production has come in the 2nd half against 3rd stringers in our first few games. and 3.) Like FemaleFinFan said we are 2nd to last in running meaning we had to abandon our rushing game and depend upon the pass. Definitely not a good thing... especially considering our QB situation.

we have been playing against 2nd string defenses...and oh ya its preseason (none of the stats matter right now)

It's amazing..Sometimes, I question the IQ's of some of our members..Anayways, I will continue to say what I have believe the entire time..We are going to D-O-M-I-N-A-T-E..

add this - Jason Taylor will get more sacks than Constantin Ritzmann in the regular season (only valid if neither player is injured)
