i was just surfing the web and found this....... interesting, i thought they would rank us much lower since they only know ZT and Channing Crowder....
anyways here it is http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5834838

LETS GO FINS :dolphins:

Good read, it was interesting to hear that Cameron Vaughn is making noise in Denver. I hope Saban was right to let this guy go...he does know him pretty well I would assume.

Yeah that's surprising...9th. With Zach Thomas on board I guess it'd be hard to rank us in the bottom half but still.

even with zach 9th is generous

Nice to see them using stats to point out that Zach probably had his best year last year...that's what I've been saying for a while.

I think it bodes well that our units are ranking in the 9 range! That pumps me up!

Don't forget where we were last season guys! We really don't have that good of depth at linebacker, so I'm happy with 9th.

nice that was an awesome read im happy to see us at 9th considering atleast one of our linebacking positions isnt set in stone as of yet but with big zach their i rekon we deserve it

9th is beyond generous. We aren't even sure whose going to be our OLB this season that replaxes seau. To give us a ranking int he top 10 is outsatanding. It says a lot for Capers and Saban.

You may not be sure, but I think the coaches are quite certain it is going to be Donnie Spragan. The study specifically mentioned Spragan as being a good functional plugger to line up over the TE.

With more improvement from Channing Crowder, I don't see 9th as generous. I think it could be argued that Zach approaches the quality of an Urlacher and Crowder is starting to approach the quality of a Lance Briggs...while Spragan I think they'd be saying is better than Hunter Hillenmeyer.

Derrick Pope nothing special off the bench? WTF?

Yeah, apparently this guy hasn't seen much of Pope playing. He's been a pretty solid contributor, especially in 2004 when Zach was hurt.

Newman, Hodge and Pope is pretty good depth. They aren't stars, but they are all solid. What else do you expect from backups

JT, ZT, Crowder and Spragan is a solid corp (3-4 defense)

I know im a homer, but it seems they put miami at #9 just because Thomas is on your team. Hes a great player, but i dont think your other 2 LBs are good enough to justify being ahead of the Bills.
