I never realized our defense was that good over the years.
The other teams on the list won superbowls. How much does that correlate to solely defense?
Miami lists top 5 in sacks since 2000.

Jason Taylor/Cam Wake.....but ya that's a big number.

I know Taylor is in the hall of fame, but Wakes numbers weren't far off.
We have had a few young guys that put up good sack numbers over the years, but when it came time to pay them we always seem to let them walk.
99 is my favorite all time (non Italian-American) Dolphin so i don’t take what I’m about to say lightly. Cam Wake was a better pass rusher than JT. Pure ability. JT was better all around but 91 was scary great. No one that size should be able to bend like that.
Wake won’t get in but I honestly believe he’s one of the best ever. Had he caught on a few years earlier at say 25 or so years old instead of 28 he’d have the numbers as well

From the title, I thought this was top 5 dolphins sacks and was thinking of that Cam Wake walkoff safety to win a game.
Cam Wake is as good a PR than any PR in the HOF.
If they consider his CFL accomplishments he’ll get in.
