I still think getting Pete Carmichael is a bit of a pipe dream...

"Gee, what QB will put me in a better position to get a HC job one day? This Drew Brees guy may have won a Super Bowl, and sure he had an off year and all -- but I really think Henne has what it takes to win three Super Bowls. I need a new challenge and I will make a lateral move to Miami."

It would have to be some associate HC position if we lose Bowles, and would also have to include alot of money (that isn't ours -- so I don't care). I just think there are too many moving pieces to happen.
 
Why would Garrett leave his brother and why would we want him?? Why would we want a college coach as well? TS needs someone like a Nolan that will come in and put this offense on the map. I really believe you will see a bunch of personnel moves on this side of the ball so if you are going to change systems now is the time.

Carmichael i don't believe would be a lateral IF he got an Asst HC title would it? I thought Nolan had it but someone wrote he didn't. If he doesn't then they could potentially use that as ammo to get someone in the same role couldn't they?
 
I wish we still had Linehan. I wonder if Linehan is happy in Detroit, he does have Stafford though.. But maybe he would like to move back to Miami. He made Gus look decent, I'm sure he can do well developing a rookie QB.
