Some desperate team might be willing to trade up with the Dolphins to take Arizona's Eben Britton, Ole Miss' Michael Oher, or UConn's William Beatty in the late portion of the first round. The Bears, Bengals, Packers, Colts, Jaguars, Chiefs, Vikings, Patriots, Giants, Jets, Raiders, Eagles, Steelers, Rams, Chargers, 49ers, and Seahawks all need o-line help.

Could something be worked out that brings Bill Parcells and company more early picks say Andre Smith, who I'm told will be a right tackle or right guard in the NFL, free-falls that far? The Dolphins would love to add more second-round picks because that's where team's get the best bang for their buck.

I think Multiple picks would be involved. I think trading down could really help to add some quality players. I could see us getting OLB,CB and WR. Miami is said to be eyeing TE so that might be another position we could Address.

Here is something Im willing to bet on Miami does not have a 6th and I can see them trading a guy like Beck to try an aquire that pick.

I could very realistically see something like this happen. And I would be ok with it. This is a team looking to build, and add depth through the draft.

Remember, Tuna was the guy who traded out of the 1st a few years back when he needed a RB and could have landed S. Jackson but knew he needed a RB and needed extra picks to build so he traded out and took J. Jones in the second. I guess it will be interesting to see when (if they do) make a trade. Do they wait right up until we're on the clock to gain more for who is left on the board, or do they start talks early.

We have a lot of needs, and I would love to see us fill some holes and bring in a lot of depth. We have a very solid nucleus of a team right now. Next step is to fill in the gaps.

I believe that if Mauluga isn't available at 25 he will trade.

It all depends on what other teams are willing to cough up. Im fine with it either way as long as we have a draft like the last one.

Oh good God, it scares me to think that Parcells needed a RB and Steven Jackson was still available, so he traded down to get Jones and draft picks. I like Parcells but in hindsight, WOW! Jackson is awesome and Jones is so ordinary, OUCH!

I would love to see another 2nd pick or maybe even a 3rd pick...I love the way Parcells mind works

Unless there is some real quality that drops to 25, I could easily see BP trading down. I just don't see a player we "have to have" that is projected to be there at 25. There are multiple players with what I would consider to be about the same caliber, so we could drop down...get extra picks...and still end up with the same quality...

The reason I could see it happening is because you have so many positions of needs WR,OLB,MLB, CB and DT. These are all positions of need they also want to address G/T and TE.

One thing I wonder is would BB and BP actually trade here for their two #2's? Not likely but BB has traded in the division before and I think BP would not care and would go with the attitude of we will take your 2 1st rounders and beat you with our 4 2nd rounders anyways!

But I think this would be about Connor Barwin and being able to pick before their 34th to make sure they get him and get more!

I think trading out of the first round is a strong possibility. Parcells and Ireland would have loved to trade the #1 overall pick last year to acquire more picks, but that top pick is almost untradeable. Of course they are not really complaining now, since they landed a Pro Bowl left tackle, but still, the chance to acquire more picks is something they want.

Why pay one player at #25, when you could use that same money to pay two players from the second round? If we trade our 1st round pick, we would likely land a 2nd round pick and probably a 3rd round pick in the 2010 draft. Of course, if that second round pick is late in the round, it could involve a 2010 1st round pick. Being at #25 is a great spot and a prime trading area in the draft. I honestly think it is 50/50 that we trade that pick.

Rey M has a torn hamstring and character issues according to what have read, he may be there at 25 along with Matthews. Vonta Davis is a guy who can also be their at 25.
