The Dolphins told agent Craig Domann they want to re-sign client Michael Lehan, an unrestricted free agent who started 14 games. The widely held expectation is Miami will try to find a starting cornerback to pair with Will Allen, allowing Lehan to be a third corner.

Lehan was one of the few bright spots this season and as a Nickel Corner with Allen as the second corner and hopefully a big name at the starting corner position, we could be looking very good going into next season.

Good news, he'd be a solid nickel corner.

uh if i recall he kept getting burned by TE's esp in the texans game? If so, I wonder if they see allen as the number 1 CB or the 2 CB?

He will be a decent nickle / dime corner. Definately not a starter, but an upgrade over daniels

ya i loved how lehan was tough and aggressive but 3rd back for me is still too pushy for that dude i think.

As I recall we have been saying that everyone will be a star NB year after year and it never happens. I hope it does this time. Lehan is young and could be a good CB that starts if the DL gets enough pressure. Any CB can look bad when they don't have a pass rush but if one is a bright spot when we had none all year then he desearves a look IMO.

Lehan played his balls off for us. Hes not overly talented, nor is he a physical beast in anyway. But he certainly gave it everything he had when he was out there, and I'm sure that means a whole lot more to Parcells than anything else at this point.
