probably getting a good qb for an already good offense and hopefully sign better offensive lineman...this team has worlds of talent..I think our defense will be solid..with a few tinkerings..a couple upgrades in the secondary..our linebackers are fine...defensive line players are still valuable to this team and having jason taylor is immense...Miami will only improve

Drew Brees is coming here, I don't have a doubt in my mind.....the Dolphins are gonna do BIG things next season!
 
Agreed, with another good draft we will be contenders. FA's will be all over our location, but more importantly the direction they see Saban is taking us.
 
I agree with your optimism, and i do think Brees will be here. But lets wait and make sure he does get here. Im 100% positive that we have a good draft because we have Saban. I just wonder who that big OL addition will be. Hopefully Bently.
 
Can't wait for the NFL to start back up.
 
If we get Drew Brees, LeCharles Bentley, DeShea Townsend and another solid draft the Dolphins will win at LEAST 10 games next season and make the playoffs.
 
There's no doubt that we have reason to be happy with the direction we're taking....getting Bress would help a lot of course and then Bentley would be the best center we've had since Stevenson, Hadnot could then move back to guard and we could take a LT on draft day.....the posibilities are endless as long as we get our QB in place before the draft.

We should look at Brees and Bently big time. I wouldn't mind looking at Woodson, he would be a big upgrade in our secondary, but thats alot of money
 
I agree, let Woodson stay where he is.......please.

Yeah hopefully it is Bentley. He's been my first choice since I learned he would be a free agent back in November. It will be a two-team fight to sign him. Miami vs Jacksonville.

Good call - Brees isn't out of SD yet. He was on the radio yesterday and didn't sound like a man intent on moving on. But the FO will still have to budge.

He's LIKELY gone, but there's still time for SD & Brees to come to some agreement- they're still talking.

FWIW, Miami seems to be the consensus among the Charger forum on Brees' likely destination, should Brees depart.
 
Bentley and Brees would be a significant improvement over last years offense .. even if it took 6 games to get in synch. If Bentley doesn't work out, Mawae is an option - I love the way he plays - the question is his age and what he has left at 35.

We still need another LB and a starting S ...these would remain our primary targets during the draft. It would also likely mean resigning Schulters for experience, since we wouldn't be able to sign a quality S with the remaining CAP space. Also, if McIntosh doesn't restructure .. then we'd still need a T as well.
