IMO CB is our weakest link, and there are many VG available options in FA. Kareem Jackson. Byron Maxwell and Chris Culliver are all young and VG. Flowers is 29 and Cromarte may get interest.

I have to really go after one of the 3 young guys, and would overspend, to a degree to get one. Grimes is aging and I'm not spending a #1 for anyone in this year's draft.

Bit of a homophobe, but Id welcome Culliver

I agree, but Miami has very little money right now. Can't see them adding much in FA.

When the smoke clears from cats and/or trades, we will be fine. This year's cap space matters little on a long term deal, which these CB's will demand as we have a ton of space next year.

I expect Hickey/Tannenbaum/Philbin to spend on a CB, and a fair chance on a DT in FA.

I like him as well as Jackson and Maxwell. Anyone else would be disappointing to me.

I do like that kid from michigan state with our first, but agree we need more playmakers(or play limiters ) at cb

Read an article the other day that said maxwell is gna be severely overpaid

"To buy fresh oats, you must pay the price. Oats, which have been processed through the horse, are much cheaper." :)

Flowers' age doesn't bother me as much as his price tag will, but he would be my top choice

All the free agent corners will be over-paid. I don't disagree that we need someone opposite of Grimes. Taylor has been injury prone, but I do like his game. I think the Dolphins will need to fill that need in the draft and at least find a good player to compete with Taylor.

I would expect all FA money to go towards a starting guard and the interior of the defense. We have too many holes and noy enough money this year. Someone already on Miami has to step up. Build the rest through the draft and use what you have already on the roster. Do not penalize future years by paying some stop-gap this year.

Maxwell scares me. He's been playing in a backfield with Sherman, Thomas and Chancellor. We'd be asking him to play at times with Jamar Taylor, Jimmy Wilson and an as yet unknown safety. The situstion just reminds me so much of the Ellerbe signing it really puts me off.

Can't overpay in FA, that's why we are in the mess we are in now. We have to draft and develop those pricy positions.

I disagree that there are no number one corners....Trae Waynes is a very talented...and fast corner....one Neon Deion loves by the way.

I also think Jalen Collins is a first round talent...but not at 14 probably.

I do however believe we need to fill some holes in free agency....giving us more flexibility come draft time.

I also disagree corner is our biggest hole....right now left guard is....and right guard is riding on a 2nd year player who didn't play last year.

Jamar Taylor is more ready to start at corner than Billy Turner is at right guard.

So really....there is an argument to be made for drafting high in several areas.

If we sign Franklin, David Harris & a starting corner.....it would really free this team up to draft a playmaker.

I think we should use free agency for a cb,dt and use the draft for wr and lb
