Besides, there was a report on the 2 minute drill that the Bengals are considering resigning him... Looks like they are gluttons for punishment.

It's one thing to take on a KNOWN trouble maker...knowing full well that he is a Pro Bowl talent.

It's another thing to take on a KNOWN trouble maker...who hasn't proven that he's a Pro Bowl type talent.

The Cowboys get made fun of lately for taking on Terrell Owens, Tank Johnson and Pacman Jones but you know what? Those guys were all proven to be Pro Bowl type veterans. Might be a stretch to call Tank a Pro Bowl type player but he was certainly a starter, and a very good one at that.

High risk/high reward situations have their place in NFL personnel decisions...but when you add talent risk into the "reward" denominator in that equation, that's when I think you run into problems. Unknown character risks can be balanced by fully known high talent...but when that high talent is not fully known, bad things.

I haven't seen this posted, but sometime I miss when an article has. In the chatter section of this article the agent for Chris Henry say's Miami is not one of the teams showing intrest in his client. Chatter is below the UM article.

I'm not sure about putting a trouble million dollar athlete into a place like South Beach.

Shoot, I only make $125,000 a year and I go absolutely crazy when I'm there!
 
I sure am glad Charles Manson is locked up and can't run a sub 4.3 forty, or some people around here would be sizing him up for a uni.
