Edit: Ok, so I'm a little drunk. I meant assuage my doubts. For those idiots that don't know the difference... anyway...

I've done a brief perusal of the forums, and I see nothing regarding this change.

Miami people, please tell me it's hotter from 1pm to 4pm.

As a Dolfan, I'm sick of the NFL screwing us over and scheduling games that negate our home field advantage. Of course, I'm not referring to the home field advantage other teams get, as Miami residents are woefully pitiful when it comes to creating a home field advantage for the Dolphins.

I'm referring to the weather advantage. The NFL has done a superb job of negating this advantage, if you're not a dolfan, in the last dozen years or so.

So please, Miami people, assuage my fears and tell me we'll have at least an equal advantage, in terms of this time change.

The Dolphins actually asked for more games at 4 either last year or 2 years ago to accomodate fans, but the organization failed to realize we just want the team to win. We have MANY 1:00 PM games this year, I want to say 12-13. We didn't have the advantage last year because our team did not take initiative in the offseason and came to camp out of shape. I hope to see some sweaty, huffing and puffing in the 4th quarter of week 2 from Da Raiders

Edit: Actually, every home game this year is at 1PM after the Raiders change. That's wonderful news.

We have a lot of 1:00 games this season. We better take advantage of it.

I remember games back in the nineties, and we had some sweaty opponents. I want to see those games soon.

I was a firm believer in this weather stuff until week 1 2011 when the Patriots came into HOT Miami. One of the 2 teams looked severly gassed and out of shape by the 2nd quarter and it wasn't the boys from Foxboro Massachusetts. Had that game been at 1 PM The Dolphins probably would have been gassed in warmups. If you want to blame the lockout fine, but both of NE's starting CB's didn't need to leave that game do to cramps.

Basically the Dolphins need to show me 1:00PM Sunday afternoon games in September are actually an advantage before I cry about this change. Last season they only showed me that had the game vs the Pats been at 1:00 Brady probably hangs 50 or 60 on us.

That first game was actually the nail in the coffin for Sparano. His defense showed him no respect by coming into a shortened offseason out of shape and not ready for the season. You think Belichek would put up with that crap? He wouldn't have to because his players respect him enough to come into camp at the drop of a dime in playing shape.

**** the Nick Saban bubble also

I wondered at the time if Edds reported how out of shape they were and it caused Belichick to install the no-huddle

i thought the bubble was for only those bad weather days. They need to practice under all conditions.

Thats what Saban's inteded use was, now its used to avoid the media. They go in there when they dont want media and fans present.

Anyways, Ive practiced 2 a days in PA and in FL during summers, and there really isnt much difference. The heat is overrated imo. Its hot everywhere in the summer.

Until we are respectable again, the NFL can pretty much do whatever they want with us. There are 31 other teams that have fans too. Teams that the fans want to watch so that is a factor in who gets what. I am 100% Dolphins fan, but reality is what it is at the moment.

I'm sorry, but wasn't our team horribly out of shape the start the season? Didn't we have a night game against the Patriots in which our guys were all gassed out cramping up last season right out of the gate? We don't need more 1pm games unless our guys are actually gonna show up in shape.
