Despite the loss, i was pretty impressed with Miami today for a few reasons...

Their "d" is able to stop the run, mcgahee never really got it going today.

They came back in the second half on the road after being completely dominated in the first two quarters

I was laughing a few weeks ago about the fish taking brown over cadillac...brown played very well today and is every bit the hard runner that the 'lac is

frerotte's high number of picks were misleading...two of those were on bombs (when clements and vincent were playing centerfield); when the "o" is sputtering you gotta go deep sometimes and picks like that will happen

their defense did a great job of neutralizing the turnovers, i believe buffalo only converted one into a td on the ensuing drive

the penalties were understandable, you're gonna have a lot of false starts and encroachments in a loud, hostile stadium

It's nice to see the division so close. i look forward to a good race and, hopefully, a renewal to our rivalry. Because, let's face it, our hatred for one another was always great and has been sorely missed the past few years.

Thanks, those were kind words.see ya in Miami.

Thanks for the post. The penalties aren't understandable though, we commit just as many at home.

SOME penalites are understandable on the road.....but 18 is ridiculous. But yeah, the bills deserved to win considering our penalties and turnovers.

Kills me tho......we had a chance at the end......we played horrible......but still had a chance at the end......if only brown didnt fumble :(...(im not sure he did)

I agree also......Phins really made it tough on the Bills in the 2nd half.....I will tell yoo one thing the Fins will be a good team in the next few years salary cap is in good shape for you guys.....

I like Bills fans. Their not stupid like jests and patsie fans. Wait till next year when Losman gets hot, whew.

thanks. it should be a good division, but losman getting hot? I personally dont see it. they need a new qb.

Yah that was scary. I thought we were going to crush you guys after that first half, then we fell off the map as usual in the second.

Ya'll made it very interesting there at the end! I nearly shat myself.

You beat me to it. Besides, even if we didnt commit so many penalties at home games, 18 is by no means exceptable no matter where we play or how loud it gets. The same goes for the 5 turnovers. I hope Saban really rips into the team. It was just pathetic.

I'm pretty sure, the way our defense was playing, if clements doesnt make that huge hit, miami would have been able to punch it in. that game couldnt have ended any sooner

Man, I never thought compliments from a Bills fan would help heal some pains of agony over this loss. Thanks for the comments and I can't help but to agree with you. Both teams are still in search of an identity right now, and like you said I look forward to when both teams are in the upper echelon of the AFC like the last decade for some heated, and hated rivalry games.

quality post and welcome aboard !!
What do you think of Holcomb ?? He looked good out there

Well those bombs would have been big plays, if they weren't greatly underthrown, the first one was caused by the bills lineman who it Gus right when he was throwing the ball, I don't know why or how the last one was a floater for, I thought Gus had a pretty strong trhowing arm, but that was not good, if the balls weren't floating ducks those would have been big plays becuase Chambers was open, this offense shows that it can put up points fast and strike at any moment, but ya know what....penalties are going to make it harder for that to happen

Definitely an improvement over Losman, but im not buying super bowl tickets yet. the line still plays poorly and holcomb's inability to get the ball to moulds, who was covered by a 2nd-string rookie, was a little demoralizing. With advantages in size and experience, you think he would have had more than 59 yards. Ill take the win, though, especially against miami
