It appears that Camarillo has really good hands.
It appears that the other receivers had a lousy 50% catch rate last year. With 4 guys at 50%, which is lower than their 2007 numbers, quarterbacking was part of the problem (Green, Lemon, and Beck).
Miami Receivers(2007)
Chambers - rank 54, catch - 51%
Hagan - rank 67, catch - 49%
Ginn - rank 80, catch - 48%
Booker - rank 84, catch - 48%
Camarillo - unranked, catch - 80%
E. Wilford
2007 - rank 34, catch - 61%
2006 - rank 63, catch - 49%
*******
Wilford got a $6 million signing bonus... so I guess we can't cut the guy. He appears to have regressed to his 2006 days, rather than his 2007 days. Hopefully he can stop finishing these pre-season games 2 for 4 with 2 drops.
