It's been at 21-1 at a site I look at for the last month. Today it dropped to 19-1

We also dropped to 10-1 odds (from 11-1) to win the AFC.

I wonder what made the line drop. Inside news on the O-gun situation? Or is it the normal "too much money" being placed on the fins...

Its always the money coming in that sets/adjusts the odds.

Injuries can move the odds. The same way a known player signing can move it the other way...

But I tend to agree with you that this move was money driven....

That's good news! :) When the money starts dropping the numbers, thats usually where the big spenders are doing business. Was there any other 2 point changes with those above us? Two points don't seem like much, unless someone bets 100M. Thanks for the update

The following moves in odds represents what they were in mid-june to what they are now. Sorry I can’t be more exact but the Fins have been the only team I’ve been watching closely…

KC 13-1 to 15-1
NE 8.5–1 to 6.5-1
TB 11-1 to 16-1
Ind 7.5-1 to 9-1
Philly 6.5–1 to 8-1
GB 17-1 to 19-1
Ravens 15-1 to 17-1
Dallas 26-1 to 21-1
Seattle 19-1 to 17-1

In the place I check the Dolphins have been the favorites the past two seasons. It's nice to be a bit more under the radar this year.

At this site, the over/under is set at 6.5 games. I expect Houston to have an outside shot at the playoffs....

can u pm me with this site??

Yes I feel more comfortable as a underdog. That way we can sneak up on them just as Carolina did last year. The offseason problems probably kept the odds low but there is a lot of talent here and its being recognized.(Even if its by a couple of heavy gamblers)

If anyone truly understands how the Vegas lines are established I would appreciate some insight. I thought one line controlled all the odds across the sports books. I just got back from Las Vegas yesterday. Monday the 12th at Ceasars Palace I got 18-1 odds on the Dolphins to win the Superbowl (I really like those odds, had to place a bet). That same day I was at the Imperial Palace and saw them at 7-1. Can anyone explain that?

Every place has it's own odds. Normally most websites wait for the the big casino's in las vegas set the starting line. And they are almost always very close to each other. Any site can move their line if they wish. That's why it's always best to shop around if you want to bet a certain game or team. If you just want to throw a couple of dollars at the bet, it's not that big a deal to shop around.

The 7-1 odds I have no clue unless it was to represent the AFC in the SB....
