i think that our secondary is very underrated, I think that with Jason Allen having last season under his belt, yerimiah bell starting to come into his own, and travis daniels along with will Allen, we have a young secondary with alot of potential.
 
key word there is POTENTIAL they can be good but then agian they can be worse than last year.
 
Nex to the online the secondary was our weakest area. Not sure I would call them underated. However we do have some yuong potential there, but potential doesnt win games.
 
We still need one more safety.

Let' not forget we will have a healthy Daniels this season.. In an interview a week ago during mini camp, he admitted he was playing at just 30% last year saying he was in so much pain all season..

If Jason Allen can be what he can be at corner, we will have a solid cornerback unit IMO with the 2 Allen's , Daniels and Goodman ..

Like I said though, we need another safety.. I really really like Yeremiah Bell.. One of the very VERY few later round picks from the old Wanny regime that actually panned out.. But we need one more guy like that at S .

Very unlikely he'd be there at 9.. But if Miami gets him this defense will be absolutely incredible..

Just imagine JT and Porter blitzing around the corners and Landry coming in full steam on a blitz down the middle (something he was very good at in college) ..

i really hope that landry is there when were up.. but are we poised to take him their?? i think the fact that he is so solid i.e. Calvin johnson, then we should really look to take him is it possible??
 
i like our secondary, it will be the best since Sam, pat, Brock, and Sammy IMO.... all we're lacking is a real playmaker.... Jason Allen could be a ballhawk... Will Allen just needs to be on the field, playmaker or not. Goodman and Hill had impressive seasons... especially Goodman because we already knew Hill was a decent starter... I don't see a need at CB if we have the Allens, Goodman, AND Daniels !! At Safety we should be comfortable but not settled IMO.
 
There is no way C.Johnson drops, but if Landry does, teams will look to trade up to the number 9th spot in the draft. But do we trade down or take Landry? I think the Falcons take Levi Brown?!! I hope!

i'd hope we wouldn't pass on him if we had the chance... that is unless another player, (who shall go nameless), also slips.:wink:

i'm pretty sure Bell's only signed to a tender anyway, and he's no Landry.... who must be like 5 years younger atleast.
