Don't know much about him Canadian LB

Eguavoen played the past three seasons (2015-18) with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League, where he appeared in 38 games. His career totals in the CFL include 159 tackles, four sacks, one interception and two forced fumbles. Eguavoen played in all 18 games during the 2018 season, totaling 81 tackles, three sacks, two forced fumbles and one interception. He played collegiately at Texas Tech from 2011-14 and was an honorable mention All-Big 12 selection as a senior in 2014.

we sure need LBrs

Our next Cameron Wake??? Can only hope.
A Dolfan that lives in Canada said that the two were really not comparable as Wake was on a whole different level. I know nothing about CFL football, so I will take him at his word. That being said, he is a very good player in the CFL. If he can come in and at least give us quality depth, that is a good thing.

I actually casually follow CFL in the offseason to scratch the football itch. At the risk of sounding like a homer, when Cam was in the CFL, he was the truth, undisputed next level player. First person in league history to be named rookie of the year and defensive player of the year in the same season. Then he followed it up with a 23 sack season and another defensive player of the year.

I hope this LB can contribute, but he’s not flying under the radar. When you are NFL good up there, it really really shows.

I live in Saskatchewan where I've watched him play on the Roughriders . He's certainly no Wake but a very dominant player.

His name is pronounced (you-guave-in)
Thanks! That's been bugging me since the reports he was coming to the NFL.

The Stephone Anthony Experiment didn't go as planned...

That's ANOTHER draft pick wasted....

You're going to **** on a 5th round pick we sent to the Saints for a guy that has been solid on specials for a couple of seasons?

I'd have preferred he became an all pro LB, but I was expecting less than what he has given us.

Yes...I am going to do just that. I'm sure somebody from the practice squad could have ran down field, filled their lane, and made the tackle...matter of fact, they hardly even run the ball back...at least not like a few seasons ago.

Upon research, I see that the Saints traded that pick to the Rams, who in turn drafted Micah Kiser. We also could have had Wyatt Teller at LG. Tim Settle for NT depth. Genard Avery at LB, a few other unmentionables that I would prefer over Anthony.
