Awesome! Maybe not the best of the bunch or even a good player anymore BUT it shows we are trying to address it. Gives us maybe a little bit more of some flexibility. I believe urbik has played basically every position other than left tackle.

Hopefully this signals the end of Dallas Thomas by the end of the day

ps-good job fisi, beating Daytona, Albert, fishfan, and all the other regulars with the breaking news!

Not bad.

So far we have signed Bushrod, Young, Urbik and McClendon to the offensive line this offseason. Throw in a fairly high draft pick and possibly a June 1st cut . . plus the young holdovers already on the team . . . and Miami should be able to come up with what is essentially 2 starting guards, a backup swing tackle and a backup G/C for the gameday group.

I think Dolphins r done signing players until the draft is done....

I do wonder tho if they will maybe trade Dallas Thomas for like a 7th round pick or for a bag of chips.

I actually applaud Tannenbaum for the depth of the Oline unlike that miserable horrible player we had in Fox as a back up I actually like Urbik & Bush as the back ups!

Seems like similar moves to last year and the previous year

Dolphins signed G/T Kraig Urbik, formerly of the Bills.
Urbik has experience at both guard spots and right tackle. He figures to come in and compete with Jermon Bushrod, Dallas Thomas, Billy Turner, and Jamil Douglas for two starting spots inside at guard. Urbik is entering his age-31 season. I have a feeling dallas Thomas will stick around for camp. let him fight for a job. or just be a camp body. should be off the team when they cut down the first group, though.
