Miami Still Strongly in Play for Manning

Manning will weigh all options and will sign where he thinks he can compete for a championship and has best chemistry for him.

Whatever happened to Manning being willing to do an "INCENTIVE LADEN DEAL" ... Sounds like he was BSing from the start!!!

I can't figure out why so many fail to comprehend this. Makes me wonder how young some of these posters actually are.

Yuuuuuuuup! Which is why I give AZ the nod. We are even on the field , AZ has weak division, but better fit from the front office to the coaching staff. I laugh when people say it is about the money. Get a clue! ESPN broke it down Manning has made 174 through his contacts with Indy, and then 2 to 3 times that on endorsements, then add his investment portfolio so it ain't about the money! It is about structure and competing! If Archie wouldn't let Eli play for AJ Smith, I don't see playing for Feur Ireland.

Az and Denver do have QBs - and they cost them to acquire - you don't replace all those draft picks - Tebow was a reach Kolb a reach - neither is worth a first day selection so Whatever team PM signs with will leave him with a feeling that they have somehing already on the roster to protect the QB - neither of those 2 teams mentioned have a top 10 pick - it will come down to comfort in a lot of areas including OLINE outlook

The fact that you get so many contradicting reports tells the story. Very few people really know whats happening outside of the teams manning is visiting. And as usual many so called "credible" sources will be wrong and continue to get paid for a job they fail at.

Clearly Denver and Arizona don't agree with you or else they wouldn't be going after Manning. I couldn't care less what either team gave up for the QB they have on their roster. Arizona gave up way too much for Kolb and he was brutal last year. So you think they should stick with him just because they gave up a lot to get him? No! Same goes for Denver. If they were at all convinced that Tebow was the answer they would commit to him and they haven't.

Neither team has a QB on their roster or else they wouldn't be going after Manning.

and if you're trying to say that if Arizona signs Manning they would still have Kolb as insurance, you're dead wrong. Kolb will be let go prior to the bonus he is owed on the 17th. So clearly, they don't think he's the answer and the compensation they gave up to make that mistake isn't clouding their judgement.... Nor should it

Unless he is willing to throw, I say no. It is ridiculous to guarantee millions of dollars in cap space, rework your entire roster to suit his wants and not even know how strong his arm is.

lol everyone in the media is in on the frenzy of misinformation. whoever manning prefers, it makes sense to make everyone else involved think they have a chance, thus driving up the price for whoever manning really wants. Hmmm I'd certainly visit the team that has 50 mil in cap space to gain some leverage on the other teams in play.
