I think because a season is 16 weeks long. How teams start is not always how they finish . Its all about adjustments and learning from your mistakes.
Does anybody think our current dolphin team would split a meaningful game against the Pats if we played them 10 times, of course not.
Pats got better as year went on, we got worse
