Miami takes James Laurinaitis of OSU with first Pick?

Just saw Todd Mcshay's mock draft. He has James Laurinaitis going to us with our first round pick. Hadn't seen it here. what does everyone think? I have no opinion because i literally have seen none of his games.
 
Oh man if this happend i would be so happy. Larinitious in my opinion is better than any other lb in the draft.and thats sayng something.
 
Dear God, I hope the Dolphins don't take him. Probably the most overrated player in this upcoming Draft. He is the second coming of Andy Katzenmoyer, and most definately a future B-U-S-T.
 
I'm not sure how I'd feel about the pick to be honest. Being an OSU fan, he's had his good moments, and bad moments throughout his career.

The attributes he has though, pretty much all the ones that Parcells likes (durability, size, leadership, team captain, community leader, productivity) Laurinaitis has all of them; so I wouldn't be too far thrown for a loop, but there's probably someone still on the board that I'd like more if he's there at 25.
 
he dissappears in big games and i havnt missed many buckeye games he has alot of good games but never against a good team
 
there could be worse picks.


conversely, I believe there could be better ones.

I'd be neither overly happy, nor overlysad with the pick.
 
JL is probably the best LB in the draft IMO. But he wont do much in a 3-4 based defense. He is best suited in a 4-3 Tampa 2 defense. Although if we did draft him, i wouldn't be disappointed because he is a great athlete and a upgrade to our LB's.
 
Stay away from him. I feel he's extremely overrated, if it wasn't for his dad being an ex wwf actor no one would know him.

whatever you're smoking,i want some,cause that's some good stuff you're smoking...he disappears in big games...yeah he has good games against inferior or lower opponents,but against good quality opponents,he's nowhere to be found,or not that i've seen anyways...i say no thanx...
