The Dolphins have already denied an unnamed team's offer of a fourth-round pick in exchange for Jason Taylor, according to the Washington Post.

Bill Parcells can do better. Taylor is aging, but should have at least one season of Pro Bowl-caliber play left in him. He says he's in the best shape of his life after training hard for Dancing with the Stars. The Post notes that the Redskins are not interested in Taylor. The fourth-rounder may have been offered by San Diego.

It wouldn't surprise me if Washington was turned down, and are saying they are not interested. Nice to atleast see there are teams interested.

Whoever that team was, they've got to offer more than a 4th. The Dolphins already turned down a 4th from the Jaguars. The Dolphins aren't taking a 4th round pick by itself for the Dancing Queen.

24 hrs and an unnamed team alredy looking for JT...thats sound good

I sincerely dount it was SD, they gave up a 2nd for Chambers. I wonder what we can get out of them this time.

2nd for chambers was sorta fair, it was late 2nd and he is young. JT is old and on his way out but still playing great. He is worth a 2nd -3rd range. I would rather get a young player and a 6th round pick.

what a crock of ****. one good season? my ***....as soon as some team rips us off they will be saying what a friggin steal they got and then the media laughs at us again.

This is insanity with all this media BS talk.

Hold your cards Bill! You control the whole deal now!

I gotta think Jason is pulling a Strahan. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see him playing for us this year. He just doesn't want to go through training camp and I don't blame him. He has earned the right to have an extended off season.

People are overestimating JT's trade value.
1) He's 34 years old.
2) He only has 2 years left on his contract, and he has hinted that he will retire after the 2008 season.
3) He simply wasn't that good in 2007. The majority of his sacks were coverage sacks, coming 6 or 7 seconds after the snap. He rarely beat his man cleanly. He looked nothing like the player he was in 2006.
4) He wants out of Miami. And Parcells wants him out. Knowing that both parties want him somewhere else, it destroys his trade value.

Parcells screwed this up by letting it get this far. He should have traded JT for Tampa's 2nd rounder on draft day. Now, the only way to trade him will be trade him for another disgruntled veteran or a 4th rd pick. You won't get anything more than that.

I remember reading it was Jacksonville, before the draft, that had offered a 4th, before the draft. I think I read it in the Palm Beach Post Online. Sorry I could not find the link.

"earned the right"???? As a contractually signed football player the only right he has is to get his azz in camp when held or be prepared to pay the price. I like JT but I have lost total respect for him now.

I'd rather let him rot on the bench than give him up for a 4th.

I'm just tired of all this J.T. crap!!!! Can we PLEASE move on. If he shows up then great... if not.. well then SEE YA..
