Miami vs NE September 7th at 1PM

The schedule sucks for MANY teams not just us.

Here is a conspiracy theory or you...

They did it intentionally so that next off season more teams will want those extra playoff games.

Really nasty schedules for many teams out there, all those early byes especially are brutal.

Maybe the expanded Thursday night thing is part of the reason?

It took everything we had to beat them last season (the team had nothing left for 2 weeks after that).

I just am not confident this team can beat the Patriots to start the season. My opinion of a Philbin as a gameday coach is not that high, so I don't expect much to open the season.

If we win? I'll be elated! I'm just not going to get myself hyped about it and fool myself into thinking this may be a 'changing of the guard' lol. People have been saying that for a decade, with the same results.

It took everything we had??? Last year we were robbed of an easy win. Come on we were up what 17-3 in the half? The refs helped them with 3 scores and 3 possessions. We played well against playoff teams but stupid mistake cost us. We did lose to **** teamslol

I'm going to be there cheering my ass off sure I could've went to an "easier" game to get a W for my hard earned money but I want to see us against the best.
 
i bet we are leading going into halftime, but lose the game :( Hopefully philbin makes some actually halftime adjustments this year! One can only hope.

Ya I don't know what the temp was at game time. Also, I live in Phoenix and have never been to Miami so I don't know how the temps go when it gets dark. Here in Phoenix if its 110 at 1pm, it's still 100 degrees when its 10pm at night. Just brutal!

Maybe the Pats would have gassed too if it was a 1pm game, but being that we gassed out during a night game I'm assuming the same would have happened at 1pm
 
here's hoping we get 'mercy rule' invoked at halftime.. thinking 49-23 final, and we're 0-3 by London.. just sayin

The Patriots really seem to struggle with Buffalo early in the season. They won 3 close games over an inferior opponent. Maybe with Lazor's new offense, all off season to prepare, we can catch them by surprise. I'm thinking Miami wins 27 - 14.
