Miami vs Pittsburgh 1973 pregame

I live in Nashville and it was a sad story for "Jefferson St." Joe Gilliam. After he ended his football career, he become a drug addict and was living under a bridge on the street that held his namesake. He never it made back from the abyss. The pipe or the abuse of his body/mind finally made him to succumb to the wind that extinguished the fire that flamed his life. But for a brief moment in time he was able to live the dream that so many of us have aspired.

R.I.P. Mr. Gilliam

How Bout them Horrible Hankies!

If you watch the footage you see we were the 1st team to have something to wave in the stands. THE HORRIBLE HANKY!! The Terrible towel has nothing on the HORRIBLE HANKY!!!!

He actually coached at TSU for a while before he passed...

Wow... I couldn't watch that for more than the first 3 minutes. That was purely awful. How come you guys didn't do something about that at the time!

Retro used to be cool... I guess.

Was that the 4 interception game by Anderson?? All 4 returned to the other 10 yard line or better, IIRC.

God, Schlitz was a bad beer.
I'd rather watch the commercials then the pregame.
Thanks for posting the link.
