Miami will be 6th seed correct

No matter what time kansas city plays, they have nothing to play for. They are the 5 seed regardless of what happens next week

Going into the week, Miami was technically the 7th seed. Miami lost 19-0 to a pathetic, depleted team & are now the 6th seed. WOW.

I'm confused. Can someone please explain this to me?

For the entire week leading up to today, it's been said that Baltimore was holding the 6th seed at a record of 8-6, with a win over us, and a conference record of 6-4.

Yet today we both lost (meaning we are still tied, now at 8-7), they still hold a win over us, and our conference record is now 7-4.

Going in to today our conference record was 7-3 and there's was 6-4….

So basically what I'm trying to say is literally nothing changed, so how is that now we hold the 6th seed, but for the last week Baltimore has held it?

Am I missing something?

Because Baltimore and Miami were the only teams at 8-6, and the Ravens had the head-to-head tiebreaker. Now, both the Ravens and Dolphins are 8-7, but the Chargers are also 8-7, so it is among three teams. So the tiebreaker changes to conference record, where the Dolphins now have the advantage (at least until next weekend).

Because the chargers won meaning there's a 3 way tie with them, us and the ravens. Head 2 Head is thrown out the window In a 3 Ey tie, next up is conference record. Miami has the best conference record of all 3 therefore they are in. However, if all 3 and Pittsburgh lose Miami is in regardless.

Thank you! I've been going crazy trying to figure it out, I was starting to think every major news outlet had collectively lost their minds! ;-P

Chargers are in the mix now due to them winning and Miami/Bmore losing. That's what changed.
