I bet they will better to be thought of as the worst team in our division we will surpraise the league
Agreed. 10-6 or 9-7 is not far fetched. Not only will we go 10-6 or 9-7, but we will make the playoffs.
I was talking to my son about this the other day and we broke down the AFC.
I don't want to get ahead of myself, but if we play with the same energy we did in pre-season, we will only get better as the season goes on. Take a look at the AFC (in no particular order):
EAST
Patriots
Bills
Jets
Dolphins
In the east, most people expect the Patriots to win the AFC east. But with so many aged veterans, band-aids and injuries, New England will have to try and keep it together if they don;t want to collapse towards the end of the season. The Bills can't seem to get over the mediocre hump and the Jest don't have a solid running game. It's going to be another one of those dogfight years for all 4 teams.
SOUTH
Colts
Jags
Texans
Titans
In the South, The Colts are expected to take it, but with injuries to Peyton Manning and the offensive line, the Colts are in the exact same position as the Patriots. There window of oppertunity is now closing. The Jags just can't seem to get over the Colt hump and with their most recent off the field issues, who knows if they will be the same team. The Texans and Titans are not scary by any means.
NORTH
Bengals
Steelers
Browns
Ravens
If the Steelers can pick up where they left off, they will run this division. The Browns are believed to not be far behind, but with the most recent injuries and ugly pre-season, there are big question marks looming in cleveland. The Bengals did not seem to upgrade and have suffered more injuries. The Ravens will soon be in rebuilding mode.
WEST
Broncos
Raiders
Chiefs
Chargers
In the West, the Chargers still look the strongest on paper, but the Raiders don't seem to be too far behind. The Broncos lost too many players and the Chiefs seemed to have went backwards.
All in all I see the playoff teams shaping up like this (in no particular order):
Patriots
Colts
Steelers
Chargers
Jags
Dolphins
