Miami Will Play SuperBowl XL ...

I got Kansas City and Philadelphia in the Big Game this year. I'm not yet sold on the trendy picks like the Falcons, Raiders or the Seahawks.
Pittsburgh will again be a force (Heath Miller was a great pick-up after they lost Plaxico), and it's just not smart to bet against the Patroits until they finally get upended. I agree that Indy could take a nose dive, they got so much stock in a few key players that some unfortunate injuries could ruin them. I expect Jacksonville and Carolina to be much improved as well. But Dallas is off my radar, unless some really wacky things happen in the NFC.

The Cowboys? I would kill myself if I ever had to see the Dallas Cowboys beat the Dolphins in the Superbowl. I would never hear the end of it.:refuse:

I could live with the Dolphins losing to the Cowboys in the Super Bowl, as long as we go undefeated next year and win two Super Bowls in a row.

IF the Vikings D is # 1 overall, they'll be the one in the Super Bowl. That's always been their downfall. Dallas won't do it with Philly in there with them and with Bledsoe at QB and Miami needs two more Saban drafts and a bit more clearing out of the dead wood we still carry on this team, but let's give him the time he needs to do just that. We're just not a Super Bowl team right now.

Nutshell - League's best teams:

1) New England
2) Carolina
3) Philadelphia
4) Minnesota
5) Atlanta
6) Baltimore
7) Pittsburgh
8) San Diego
9) Indianapolis
10) New York Jets

Rank those 10 as you wish.

Atleast you got the audactiy to make a prediction like that, gotta commend you for it. Its better then every single "NFL expert" picking some combination of Colts,Falcons,Eagles,Pats.

Personally i picked Colts over Panthers/Vikings/Rams(havent decided yet).

Miami V.S Tampa Bay (The Homer in me)

Indy V.S Arizona .......... thats something i would bet on well im a little confused in the NFC side but I think Indy is going to pull it off this year. (if they can stay healthy)

Thats really wishfull thinking if you really think the fins are gonna make it to the superbowl. The fins are going to compete for a wildcard spot but lose out to the steelers and jets. As much as i hate the stinking jets, the are pretty good and will finish second in our divison (we will finish 3rd). The superbowl is going to be the Vikings and the Ravens.
we will beat the jets after our first round bye week. the first half, played at miami, will be jet dominated but , unlike previous dolphins teams, we will make psychological adjustments in third quarter and set it on fire.

i dont like philadelphia's chances from week one. kansas city i have winning early season games but never able to hang in there at the top of the stretch. a six furlong race, maybe, but not a full season. oakland will be strong and wil lead the west in the afc for most of the season but will take a swoon after winning seven games. i like their offense as well but again, the season is long. pittsburgh will be number two seed to miami in the afc.

afc

miami
pittsburgh
jacksonville
san diego
new england
ny jets

(in order of seed)

nfc

minnesota
dallas
tampa bay
seattle
atlanta
washington

i like arizona but i think they need at least another year. they can go 7-9 ... 8-8. probably the former.

I agree with Jimi's post, you gotta give the guy credit rather than calling him dumb. Who in the world is picking either Miami or Dallas to go to the Superbowl, let alone the two of them? Especially with Miami's difficult schedule. But it seems like there's always a surprise in the NFL every year...

If you rewind two years, both teams were pretty good (Dallas was 10-6???). Dallas definately overachieved, and really needed to add a quality QB and RB. Parcells thinks he's done that now. But Miami (as much as I hate to say it), hasn't yet solved their QB crisis and the O-line went backward last year. It would be a hell of a turnaround for us, but one I would welcome.
