2a. hakeem nicks, wr Nicks stock has been going up and down alot, a month ago he was the hottest thing since Creme Brulee, ever since his Fatboy phase he's in alot of 2nd round mocks. If he's here, its a no brainer, dont count on it though. I'd bet 100$ he's taken before our 2a. A
2b. victor harris, cb bleh, this guy is a solid defender, but he's quite slow. I think there will be better corners available like Byrd, Mickens, Alp Smith, DJMoore, Coye Francois, etc. He's probably going to be a good Safety. I've always loved his physical CB play, just too slow. C+
3. samie lee hill, dt I've been lovin hill for a long time, I had him in alot of my midseason mocks, before people started talking about him. He's massive at 330, 6'4. from Stillman, he's not widely publisized, however someone of his stature will eventually become popular when he's in demand for one of the toughest jobs in sports. I'm a Soliai supporter, he has top 5 NT size in the league, and would be the largest in this draft. I'm not sold on Cohen playing NT, unless he gets to 315, but I'd prefer a 330+ kind of NT. I think its too early for this kind of project, but if Parcells does this, i wont be upset. I just think Soliai will wake up and play his *** off this year. B-
4. kraig urbik, og Massive gaurd from Wisconsin? I'm down, that university constantly picks up the best OL prospects for their power running game. Sparano also employs this offense, and he'd fit the description for tough, smart, disiplined players in need. I think he'll be taken mid-late 3rd round. But if we can land him that'd be very nice. A
5. frantz joseph, lb - LOVE THIS PICK, I've seen him live at FAU games, and he makes like 10 tackles a game, he's everywhere. Punishes the ball carrier, but is slow in coverage. Kind of lame in 3rd down situations. I think Pasqualoni will make him a bada$$. A+
6. don carey, cb LOVE THIS PICK, I read about Carey last year but still have never seen a game of his. He shined in the Shrine game, and also was highly recognized in the Senior Bowl. Batted away the winning TD, showed the best recovery speed of all corners. I pray he's not taken in 5th round. A+
7a. stryker sulak, de From West Virginia? I don't know much about him but I've seen him make some sacks if this if the guy from WV. I think McDaniel takes the 4th DE spot. either Wright or Dotson will remain, one will be gone. I think both would beat out Sulak though.
7b. john phillips, te Who? Can't speak on him
Overall I love the draft. I'd pass on V Harris, Better players will be available. Everyone thinks we will draft a NT early, I dont think we will, if we do, thats fine, i hope for a great NT competition. Soliai has trade value with his size and experience. Love the Carey and Joseph picks.
I wish you'd explain your picks, mock drafts without commentary look amateur. Without explainations, I can't believe you know anything about Carey/Hill/Joseph.
