To assume that (the starter is not on the roster) is really unfair because we are in an evaluation process," Cameron said. "I am sure you are trying to figure it out and I don’t blame you. I want to figure it out too. Who is going to be the Dolphins’ quarterback? We are going to coach every guy like he is going to be the starter. I remember when Drew Brees was the starter, Doug Flutie was the backup, Philip Rivers was the third and Cleo Lemon was the forth. I remember when John Friesz was a starter, Gus Frerotte was third and Trent Green was fourth. We coached them all like they are starters because our belief is one guy is one play away from being the starter no matter who your starter is. The second guy is two plays away from being the starter. You want to develop the guys so that they’re all, at some point in time, starting. That’s what we’re going to try to do. We’re going to develop every guy like they are the starting quarterback and be a winning starting quarterback for us because it’s the only way I know how to do it."
