Obviously Miami cant do much of anything for the WR position as of now. Well dramatic changes. Ted Ginn is a return specialist.... period. I think Miami should spend a number one on a top grade reciever instead of drafting one and grooming him. Any thoughts of potential suitors for this lackluster core? A person who will be a great number one with all the intangables and having bess and hartline to be great compliments??

WR is actually the one position where a 1st round pick is not guaranteed. Marques Colston was one of the last guys picked, and he is amazing. We should put Hartline as #1, or camarillo

2010 WR Depth Chart

1. Ginn
2. Camarillo
3. Bess
4. Hartline
5. Some journeyman WR or draft pick.

Ginn is the starter, and unlike what some people tend to believe, he actually still puts us in the best position to win considering the rest of the WR core. Just remember to take him off the field in the final 5-7 minutes in a game.

Our number one pick needs to be at ILB or FS. PERIOD. I wouldn't use a number one pick on a wideout if he agreed to play for 1 million dollars a year. Too risky to take a wr in the first round. History proves that.

Yeah, that's screaming Number 1.

The free agent wide receiver class is extremely deep right now, but not everyone is going to walk into free agency.

Vincent Jackson is #1 on my list. That guy is the real deal. Others include Brandon Marshall, Steve Breaston, Kevin Walter, Antonio Bryant, Miles Austin and Mark Clayton.

I am not sold on Bryant. Austin will be franchised if he keeps playing like he is. Marshall will probably be too and I don't want his baggage. Walter is nothing speical and breaston's knee is injured and may require surgery in the offseason.

You DO NOT need a marquis wideout in the NFL. What you DO need are guys that are good route runners and can catch. We don't need a randy moss or other top tier guy. Prior to Randy Moss, NE proved what you needed at the wideout position.

Vincent? Yes, please.

Yes, you do. To succeed, yes you do.

Davone Bess and Greg Camarillo are "guys who run good routes and catch the ball". They're really helping us out now.

Patriots won championships for years with Deion Branch and Troy Brown as their starting WR's, hardly even close to "marquee"

I think it always comes down to a poised QB under pressure, without one there is a very slim chance to succeed.

How are the bills doing? Dallas? How did the bengals do prior to this year? Carolina? Texans? Arizona had two good wideouts and just got to a superbowl. That was more on the play of Warner though but having boldin, breaston and Fitz doesn't hurt either.

Bess and camarillo have their moments. Their routes weren't very good last game and they aren't always consistent.

...and video tape.

I say let Ginn go in the off season. He won't fight for the ball as a WR, and he's an average p/k retruner (hesitates too long before he takes off).

Promote Turner.

Draft or sign a good catching TE, and a fast WR (at least 6' 2"" or taller) that can run routes and catch the ball.

I don't understand what point you're trying to prove

If That's still our WR core next year, I hope you're happy with the Dolphins continuing to be an average team with no chance of going anywhere in the playoffs.

I know I won't be happy if that's the case.

I'll take C.Henry in FA and let Hartline show what he can do after a his first year, Cam, Bess and alittle Ginn makes for a pretty good group of WR's. A TE threat would help, D.Clark could be available, B.Scaife isn't bad either and B.Watson from NE seems pretty good.

I really hope the draft is all about defense.....ILB,OLB,FS,NT oh my. I'd even take a mid to late round shot at T.Holliday WR/KR as a return specialist with his small frame but 4.25 40 time.
