As they should. The most polished QB prospect we've had since Dan hung em up. It's been a QB wasteland around here for over 20 years outside of a year of Pennington and sometimes Tannehill. We'd be self destructive to walkway from Tua. Now. Let's get him some weapons and strengthen his protection.

I look at it this way. Tua's best moments, or best games, are probably about what he will be with more experience. Give him more talent and I think he really takes off.

If at the end of 2021 they decide they want an upgrade, you can afford to swing for the fences. With such a young roster and influx of high draft picks already in place, you can afford to “miss”....:once.

i think he started to stuggle at times bc play calling, and who he was throwing too. look at the az game, he still had weapons. at least better than 4th stringers
Works for me. Get him better WRs and a back like Harris or Smith.
What people fail to realize is that Tua wasn't getting all the reps as a one number when the season started, that went to Fritz, while Burrows and Herbert were getting the reps as they had no competition, especially since Chargers original #1 was ruled out before the season started. For the first 7 weeks, Fritz was our guy, while Tua was the backup, thus his reps with the 1s were limited. I'm looking forward to an off season for him and a lot of other rookies.. KVN put it best.
