Miami's Campus on Lockdown

There was an armed robbery just off of the Miami campus this evening and the suspect is believed to have fled to the campus. All residence halls are on lockdown. Officers have focused efforts on the canals in front of the Patti and Alan Herbert Wellness Center and vehicles are being searched.

Yeah, and once again the University's emergency alert system FAILED after weeks of testing before the semester began. That thing is a wreck.
