Miami's D still struggling on 3rd downs

Great win for Miami. But it may not have been so tough had Miami been able to get off the field on 3rd downs. Particularly 3rd and longs. The Chargers were 11 of 19 on 3rd downs and 3 of 4 on 4th downs. Our defense played bend but don't break today. But we are bending way too much on the down that matters most. Talk about frustrating!!

Yeah, it wasnt too bad in the second half. We nearly blew it in the first half. Props to the D on first and second downs.

I think as a team this is the area that we need to improve on the most. You arnt going to win many games playing that way on third.

When we get Will Poole back, move Daniels to Saftey, and everybody becomes much more comfortable with the D scheme. We'll be much better next year. They are improving, and you cant forget that SD is a very good team. Hopefully we can win out and take some momentum into next year.
