Miami's defense has allowed an NFL low 130 points. I know there are some teams that have played eight games, but this is a huge defensive number.

I haven't enjoyed watching the run defense, but the Dolphins pass defense has really come on since San Francisco.

Complete 180 from the 1st 7 games of last season to now. Team is slowly molding into Flores’ vision game by game.

When you have Howard and Jones on the boundary it theoretically squeezes the field. Vilma made a good point during the broadcast that throwing at Jones is a blackhole which makes QBs test Howard which isn't a walk in the park either.

I look forward to us getting a market correction on Josh Allen in December.

The fact that some teams have played 8 games makes no difference, we are still #1. We are allowing 18.5 per game and that is the best in the league even with the teams that have played 8. Ravens 2nd at 18.8, with the rams and chiefs both at 19.
Ypg is a whole other story though. We are still better even in yards than we were last year.

I thought Vilma made a lot of good points.

I guess if you have to be great at either run defense or pass defense, the latter makes more sense in today's game.

That said, I would love to see Miami add a run stuffing DT, preferably someone who could also pressure against the pass.

Can you imagine this defense with the addition of a linebacker like Parsons and a force at DT...or if Roberts always played the way he did yesterday?

I'll counter this statement with the following.
They need an impact LB more than the DT.
What do you think of that?

I think so. Parsons seems like the absolute perfect scenario for Miami. Can rush the passer too.
