I dunno, but can tell you who I'm not keeping:
  1. Will Fuller
  2. Jacoby Brissett
  3. Albert Wilson
  4. Malcolm Brown
  5. One or the other...Ogbah or Gesicki
  6. Tommylee Lewis...just because I'm like, "Who the fook is that guy?"
 
Of our FAs, I’d keep Ogbah, Gesicki, Needham, Duke Riley, Mack Hollins, and Duke Johnson. But if Gesicki won’t resign for something in the neighborhood of $10M a year, he can walk. He’s got way too many limitations to overpay for him. I’d use the franchise tag on Ogbah if he won’t be reasonable on an extension.
 
Sign offensive linemen who can't block themselves out of a paper bag!!! And let a TE walk that catches just about everything thrown his way. Sounds about right.
 
The good thing is I’m not really concerned with losing any of our FAs.

Ogbahs a very good player but I’m not coming close to $20M a year for him. He’s more of a bull than an athlete. Best at knocking down passes. Not gonna lie, I’m enamored with the Purdue DE, the other Greek Freak.

I liked Gesicki a lot coming out although Andrews and Goedert were higher on my ranking for sure. I can’t even comprehend how the whole league missed on Andrews. That one stings.

We obviously know the kids strengths and weaknesses. He’s a very gifted athlete but that doesn’t translate on the field. He doesn’t win contested passes nearly enough for his size. He lacks the wiggle and the ability to bend. Devante Parker is an artist on 50/50 balls. Gesicki isn’t. Mike is an emotional leader for sure and he gets open but you can see why his ability was so spectacularly suited for volleyball.

He will get a big contact on the open market so I’m ok with the tag and then exploring my options.

I like the Bengals TE a lot. Evan Engram would be very appealing to me on a one or two year prove it deal.

Edit: let me be perfectly clear, I LOVE Mike Gesicki the Miami Dolphin. No part of me wants him to go. I Mrs just paramount the move works for the team’s future.

Ogbah and Gesicki back, but.....

Not making Ogbah an offer that puts him in top 5-10 DE territory. Sorry but he has an Andre Branch neon style sign flashing to me.

Not making Gesicki an offer that puts him in top 5 TE territory. Gesicki fell off the last 6 games or so. I don't want to here any external excuses to him. You never see the other top tight ends in the league disappear that long.
 
Ogbah and Smythe.........wow out of all that list I came up with two!

Smythe because he can block and we shouldn't overpay Gesicki
