The Miami Dolphins have plenty of unproven receivers, and it didn't make things easier now that the team cut six-time Pro Bowler Chad Johnson this week.

With Chad Johnson out, who will be Miami's No. 1 WR?

  • Legedu Naanee
  • Brian Hartline
  • Davone Bess
  • Roberto Wallace
  • Julius Pruitt

But someone has to step up in Miami's West Coast offense. Our "Poll Friday" question is, who will be the new No. 1 receiver for the Dolphins?

There are plenty of candidates who are not household names. Candidates such as Legedu Naanee, Brian Hartline, Davone Bess, Roberto Wallace and Julius Pruitt lead an unknown group.

We really need Juan Huron to step up here.

Wow, what a shocker, even ESPN acknowledges that CJ was our #1 receiver. Now compare that to the inept posts as to how "he can't play anymore", "he's not fast enough." Hog wash. The only other WR on the team who has similar quckiness and separation ability is Hogan, and maybe Pruitt but I'm not sure yet about him. CJ was our #1- those who doubted it should suck on that and the evidence as to it which they ignored. What a joke. Wake up and smell the coffee- despite his occasional annoying behavior and his b***, trouble making pain in the a** wife, the guy can still play the game. he did bring a lot of trouble on himself, but his wife and the pending litigation/complications did him in down here.

who is the 1 guy who has all the talent it takes to be a #1? Roberto Wallace, he is big and fast. just has to put it together

Roberto is still fighting for a roster spot right now, he has the tools, but he doesn't use them like he needs to.

I expect the best route runners on the team to have the best numbers. If we keep Hogan and he's used quite a bit I see him having a good year, I see Bess having a monster year, and I don't know about Naanee but apparently he's having a very good camp.

Combination of Fasano/Bush...Bess will be well guarded, and when push comes to shove, I can´t really think of anyone in this roster consistently getting open. When we see RTannehill running for his life, trying to find an open man, we will be locks to draft a couple WRs in the 1st 3 rounds next year...

I am loving me some "7-11". I think he will make this roster, I have a feeling that Hartline could go on the half season IR so they can get a look at another receiver before making a decision if Brian is not healthy at all this camp.
