Take what you will, but I'm an avid Notre Dame fan and have literally watched every game of Floyd's career.
While he's a great athlete, and a physical specimen, there are many concerns.
Other people have mentioned his off the field problems (which he supposedly has taken care of) but think T.O., Ochocinco, B Marsh, all these guys are leopards, and they don't change their spots. That goes for Floyd too.
He's not scared to throw a QB under the bus, and he also has many ON FIELD issues such as effort. He takes plays off, especially when he's not getting the rock.
Watch the Champs bowl from this year against, FSU. Specifically late in the game on a crucial 3rd or 4th down, he gave up on a play while the QB was still scrambling, buying time to make a play. Floyd could have gotten open and made a play but he gave up. As he walked off the field a coach ran up to him and let him have it like I've never seen. He never got back into the game again.
(It was reported that he was hurt from a play in the 1st half but couldn't continue) but I saw what I saw (at the game and very close to the sideline), he was still playing after his "injury" and once he gave up on the field, the coaches wouldn't put him back out there.
Not to mention that was his last collegiate game, and wasn't afraid to take it easy and not give 100%.
I'll be the first to say it, I love the guys physical ability and talent, and of course as a Notre Dame homer, I'd love to see a Golden Domer on my beloved Phins, but not if he's gonna be a problem. He definitely has the chance to be a stud WR in the NFL, but he also has the baggage to make him another WR Primma Donna
